ANTON NEWSPAPERS: Back-To-School Nutrition For College Students

August is back-to-school time for all of you college students! I loved my undergraduate years, and I learned a lot about my health while in college.

During my freshman year, I made a ton of friends and focused a lot building my new social life at school. I joined various organizations on campus and enjoyed my newfound independence. It took a while for me to balance school, friends, and my health. I got into a healthy routine and made a commitment to bettering my mind, body, and soul.

In my monthly column Choosing Health in Anton Newspapers, I like to keep things relevant to the time of year. My most recent article gives college students some tips on basic back-to-school nutrition. The principles discussed in this article are some that helped me have a healthy and enjoyable four years in college. Here is a short excerpt from the article:

The cornerstones of good health in college are regular exercise, a well-balanced diet, and moderation. All of these concepts require planning ahead and prioritizing your health. Let’s break down these three concepts and explain how you can practically incorporate this into your daily routine.
