I'm starting an Ask The Nutritionist series, where I share my clinical nutrition knowledge and fitness expertise with you all! I will answer common questions that I get from clients and patients on a daily basis. Each video is packed with updated and relevant information on each topic, and provides well-rounded information from yours truly!

 

The first topic/video addresses whether or not you should take a Vitamin D supplement. Vitamin D is an important prohormone that is synthesized by the skin when exposed to sunlight. This fat-soluble vitamin assists in normal bone development and maintenance. 

 

This video covers everything from the functions of Vitamin D to what form of Vitamin D is best for supplementation.
