I'm starting an Ask The Nutritionist series, where I share my clinical nutrition knowledge and fitness expertise with you all! I will answer common questions that I get from clients and patients on a daily basis. The first topic/video addresses whether or not you should take a Vitamin D supplement. Vitamin D is an important prohormone that is synthesized by the skin when exposed to sunlight. This fat-soluble vitamin assists in normal bone development and maintenance.
